We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is perfect, allowing us easy access to all the important tourist attractions in the area. The staff here is exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even took care of our little dog, which was a big plus for us. The building itself is new and well maintained, giving off a luxurious vibe. The amenities offered, such as free Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed, added to our overall satisfaction. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the food served at the on-site restaurant was of high quality. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
This place exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I stayed at this family run hotel in Sighetu Marmatiei for a few nights and it was a great experience. The location was perfect for what we wanted to see, with easy access to local attractions like the Merry Cemetery and the Carpathian Steam Train. The indoor pools, both the heated fresh water swimming pool and the heated salt water pool, were a fantastic addition. The staff, especially Christian, who speaks perfect English, were friendly and always ready for a chat. The hotel itself was well-maintained and the room was clean and spacious. The in-house restaurant offered delicious food at reasonable prices. a wonderful place to stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We spent a few days exploring the beautiful Maramures area and found a comfortable hotel in a strategic location for visiting important tourist attractions, including the Carpathian Steam Train and the Happy Cemetery. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was hearty and nourishing. We appreciated the clean and well-organized inside pool. Our room had a good size and pleasant view, with free internet access.
The outside pool and surroundings could use some attention and refurbishing, as the synthetic green carpet was old and worn off, and the sunbeds were outdated.

The hotel was located in a charming village close to the famous Happy Cemetery and the largest wooden church in the area. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, with good cleanliness standards. The food served in the in-house restaurant was of good quality and at a very reasonable price.
The hotel staff didn't speak English, which might be challenging for non-Romanian speakers. There was also noise from the nearby road which could disturb light sleepers.

A spacious indoor heated saltwater pool and fresh water pool complete with free parking and friendly staff offering leisure advice - are among the best aspects. Local food was of good quality and value for money.
The rooms lack adequate maintenance, with visible signs of previous flooding damaging the walls and dirty damp patches. the carpet has worn off, and the beds are old.
